YOUR WINDOW INTO THE WEIRD AND WONDERFUL WORLD OF CHUCK BENSCOTER

What are you searching for?
Want to learn the drums or some area of percussion that has always fascinated you? Does STOMP!, Blue Man Group, Buddy Rich, Ringo Star or Neil Peart make your pulse quicken?
Then we need to talk.

I am Ace Drummer. Not a flying ace with many victories but a private eye who is always searching for answers to the mystery that is DRUMS!

I have spent over 40 years searching the world of percussion. I am by no means the final expert but I have gathered a very large amount of experience and knowledge that I can share.

As an active percussionist / drummer you can find me performing in the Beaver Valley Orchestra, the Concord UMC Praise Band and for my own personal enjoyment.

As a percussion teacher I focus on rudiments, muscle development, technique and knowledge of the instrument. I use and teach the rudiments as the backbone of percussion. Rudiments are the ABCs of percussion and without them a drummer is unable to ‘speak the language’.

I teach in many areas of percussion including: marching drum lines, modern set drumming, jazz drum set, hand percussion and symphonic percussion.
